I got a lot done this last week. The flights are booked for the summer holidays and I completed my taxes. The government owes me money. Gimme, gimme, gimme. Anybody who knows Saskatoon show recognize the "band shell" in EP218. That's assuming I haven't butchered it with my "drawing skills". And the Guilt Dyke and D'BAD queen... what are they up to... hmmm.

I had a good Easter long weekend. I didn't get to my taxes, but that's ok. Next week. I spent the weekend taking in winter stuff off the porch and getting the summer stuff out. It was nice to sit out on the porch and relax in the sun. The neighbours are out and about, and the kids are playing in the street again after a long winter. I didn't get to my inside clean up work either, but all in good time. Back home, the family got together for Easter out at the farm. There was enough water in the sloughs (pronounced "slooze"; same as ponds) that the kids got the canoe out. I wish I could have been there, I've never canoed at the farm. There's never been enough water around by the time I get there in the middle of summer. Mom is doing great. She is able to drive again, so she can get around easier. And now she doesn't need her cane all the time. Go Mom, Go!

The weather is getting warmer and spring is on the way. The earth is waking up and things are getting juicy!! The Good Friday long weekend is this weekend and I'm looking forward to three days off. No specific plans, maybe go to a flea market or fix some things around the house. Whenever spring comes, I get urge to purge. I need to go through all my stuff in my office and clean out old files, books, and re-organize my record collection. I've got stuff sitting all over the place and I'm starting to trip over it. The same goes for the basement. Mind you, I may need the whole weekend to think it over and carefully craft a plan of attack (or plan of neglect).

Well the gang's all here in EP215. After a long absence, the Guilt Dyke and D'BAD Queen are back to "help" Phil work through life's little issues. If only we all had little helpers like that. It's April; time to do imcome taxes. Yikes!!
