This week I've updated the cast page to include some of the new characters we've met in recent weeks. I still need to organize the page into main characters, supporting characters, and misc. The listing right now is getting too long. As for this week's episode (EP170), the Principal's office warm, cheery atmosphere required alot of black space. I just didn't want to shade this all with pencil. So I had to use ink (gak!). I've said it before, but as a left handed person, I don't like working with ink. I guess it goes back to elementary school where you had to learn proper handwriting with a fountain pen (an evil invention). After working on EP170 a little while, I got over my past traumas and did ok on the large black spaces. It was doing the fine work around objects and the characters that was tricky. Ink is just so darn permanent. I still prefer pencil, but ink is gaining a small secondary role in my work.
Hey, sorry I'm late with Ep169. I got back late from Mexico yesterday and realized I hadn't uploaded this episode. Anyways, I had a great time and really good weather. This week's episode marks a return of the "Outing Announcer" (first seen in EP99) and "Phil's Dreamboat" (first seen in EP65). Those dreams can come back when you least expect it. And Ester dares to enter the Principal's office.
Seems like Al is trying to tame a force that can't be tamed (EP167). Look out here comes Ester!! Next week I'll be away on vacation. I'm going to Mexico for one week. Yay!! While I'm away, the comic will update as usual. I'm looking forward to big slushie girlie drinks on the beach.
