We're back again! I had a great time in Mexico. Lots of sun and fun. I took an ecotour and did some snorkling. And now we're back to winter. From sunburn to freezer burn all within 24 hours. But it's good to be back. In this week's episode EP213, the guy in the Sask Pool hat is for any of our rural Saskatchewan readers out there.

Well I screwed up. I put the comic file up for EP212, but it was actually EP211. So for those early risers, you would have thought there was no update yet. I fixed that now.

This last weekend, we had really nice winter weather to go skating on the Rideau Canal. This was the second weekend of Winterlude in Ottawa. Unfortunately, the first weekend was a disastrous washout. It rained hard for the whole weekend. To make up for that, I skated both Saturday and Sunday. And since I'll be on vacation next weekend, I'll miss the last weekend of Winterlude. Hopefully we'll have nice weather for the end of the festival. So far the forecast is saying rain. It seems winter this year has been perpetual spring, punctuated by short periods of winter. Another thing I did this weekend was take in the movie Transamerica. It was a really good movie. I thought it was going to be all about the man going through the process of changing into a woman, with all the external forces trying to stop him/her. But it really turned into an adventure story with her and someone from her past. And while they're on their adventure, they learn about each other. I recommend it.

Remember, next week I'll be away to Mexico, so no comic for Feb 21st. Happy Valentine's day and see you 2 weeks from now!

Ooooo, lots o' men in EP211. I'll bet you didn't know Phil could fly. Most of the poses in EP211 were loosely based on photos from Physique Pictorial magazines by the Athletic Model Guild founder and photographer Bob Mizer. Great vintage photographs. Less than two weeks before I'm off to Mexico. I'll be gone one week, so there'll be no comic on Feb 21st.
